About Us

RYZVOX

Unpack your mind. We handle the rest.

We are a small Czech company making gear for people who ride and travel. Everything we sell, we have loaded, dropped, soaked and repacked ourselves.

What we stand for

Four things we will not trade away

Everything below is a rule we already work by, not a plan. If we break one of them, tell us.

01

We claim only what we can prove

There is no IP rating on our bags, because we have not paid for an independent test and we will not invent one. There is no compression percentage on our packing cubes, because we measured the volume in litres instead of guessing at a number. Where we do not know something, we write that we do not know.

02

One system, not a catalogue

Every piece is built to work with every other piece. The attachment grid (RYZGRID) on the outside, the hook-and-loop lining (RYZCLAW) on the inside. What you buy today still has a place when the range grows, so nothing you own with our name on it turns into a dead end.

03

We break it before you can

Prototypes get loaded past their rating, towed behind a motorcycle, dragged through mud and left out in the rain. Some of them fail. That is the point. The weak spot should be ours to find, not yours to discover halfway through a trip.

04

You reach the people who made it

There is no call centre. Write to us and the answer comes back from someone who drew the part, chose the buckle and packed the first sample. That is only possible while we are small, and we would rather stay small than lose it.

How we work

Drawn here, tested here, then made where it is made well

Every product starts as a sketch in the Czech Republic and ends up on a road here before it goes on sale. We name the parts we buy in, because the parts are the product: YKK® zips, Duraflex® and Woojin® buckles, VELCRO® Brand ONE-WRAP®. If a component is good, saying whose it is costs us nothing and tells you something real.

We do not manufacture in Europe and we do not pretend to. What happens here is the design, the prototyping, the testing and the decision about what is good enough to sell.

The team

The people behind it

Ladislav Kratochvil, RYZVOX founder, wearing the FAR Duffel Bag 40L as a backpack

Láďa

Founder & Product Designer

Road riding, adventure travel and motocross since childhood, which is where the list of things that annoy you about luggage comes from. He started RYZVOX in 2024 and spent two years on development before any of it went on sale. Now the range is launching and he is on it full time. He draws the products and carries the prototypes himself.

Rudy

Co-founder

A motorcyclist to the bone, with tens of thousands of kilometres behind him. Rudy has been in this since the first sketch, back when RYZVOX was an idea and a pile of parts, and in those early days he was the one who knew how it should be done. Most of what the company is today, the two of them worked out together.

Vláďa

Head of Marketing

Tens of thousands of kilometres across Europe, most of them on nakeds and sportbikes, two generations of Hayabusa included. He has since settled into adventure touring: a Versys 1000 first, and now a Berlin-built ADV that, in his words, would ride with a sack of potatoes on the back. Vláďa runs everything you see and read, from the campaigns to the words on this page.

Benjamin, RYZVOX photographer, riding on a tree-lined road with a phone mounted on the handlebars

Benji

Photography & Design

Two months on a Chinese bike and he has already covered most of the country. He also has bad ideas: with almost no experience he rode 5,500 kilometres to the western edge of Spain, to see what the end of the world looks like during a solar eclipse. Benji shoots the products and the trips, and draws everything from the hangtags to the packaging.

Where we are going

A full travel system, one piece at a time

We started with luggage because that is where the worst problems were. The range is growing outwards from there, and every new piece has to attach to the ones already out. That rule slows us down and we are keeping it anyway.

Have a look, or ask us something

Everything we make is covered for five years. If something is not right, you have thirty days to send it back.
